Hello, I’m Santi

Growing up, my family loved to travel. Whether it was to sunny Florida to enjoy the beach, hiking in the Grand Canyon, or down to South and Central America to visit our families during summer break, we always had a destination. It was during our many trips that I quickly found myself as the designated cameraman, which would later develop into a life long passion. In the beginning I took pictures simply for the joy of framing a subject or capturing a special moment, but it wasn’t until my early teenage years that I began taking photography classes in school and developed an interest in editing.

My educational experience comes from Bridgewater State University where I received a degree in Studio Art with concentrations in both Graphic Design and Photography. My creative eye is naturally drawn to architecture and landscapes, capturing major landmarks, city streets and skylines, and local shops of a quaint coastal town. I like to capture the iconic well-known locations, as well as a community’s local hidden gems. In my portfolio you’ll find an abundance of images in these subjects, as well as photos of wildlife, commercial items from my experience as an e-Commerce product photographer, and the occasional candid shots of friends or strangers. While my editing process can be extensive and tedious at times, my goal is simple; I cater my edits to complement the subject of the image. Over the last decade I have created a handful of presets, ranging from warm and bright to dark and cool. I enjoy the editing process and take time to fine-tune the details, resulting in an always custom edit fit specially for the subject on display.
